LINXION The ORIGINAL, original inventor of the rebar bonding technical solutions for concrete rebar since 1994.

Designed and developed to meet international requirements and to adapt to all types of steel used on site, “BARTEC” splicing systems are the ideal solution to the most difficult structural problems.

LINXION The Original was founded in 1994 by a French industrial group with the aim of developing and marketing the original patent for the mechanical splice cold forged threaded, named “BARTEC”.

Today, LINXION The Original also includes its other branches : LINXION International, BARTEC By LINXION and CERGIl By LINXION.

The company continues to grow and commit itself to the development of new, high-quality technical solutions for the construction industry.

New patent filing for “Rolled-threads” technique

1994

Creation of the first BARTEC society by MURE company in Lyon

1995

New patent filing for the high-adhesion mechanical splicing device for reinforced concrete

1996

Creation of the DYN range coupler, specialized in fatigue, designed to meet the needs of structures subjected to high cyclic and dynamic loads.

1996

Creation of the first industrial dual-head machine for the 1992 rolled-thread patent

2007

Research and development project aimed at improving BARTEC mechanical splicing systems

2011

Establishment of our branch LINXION International to expand our market

2012

The Magnetude Group acquires BARTEC company and become BARTEC Group, with BARTEC now operating as a branch of the group.

2012

Development of the new LER mechanical splices.

2013

New patent filing for the new generation of mechanical splices PI.

2014 – 2015

The company expands globally by establishing new distributors partnerships, particularly in the Middle East and Latin America.

2017

Establishment of an operational branch in Dubai under LINXION International.

2019

New patent filing for our standardization machine to cold-normalize the end of each rebar.

2020

BARTEC Group commits to an eco-friendly campaign and develops the STARS vision.

2021

New R&D project with the creation of the RAFAL project and the patent filing for a new range of couplers: the SIGMA 8.

2023

In order to stand out from the competition, BARTEC Group rebrands itself as LINXION The Original.
