Flaring

The slipforming procedure increases the internal diameter of the tube end.
In this way, tubes can be slipped together in the case of long lengths, complex shapes (nailing type) or on two separate planes.

Our manufacturing process offers many advantages,
including coaxiality between the tube and the slipped part, and control over the internal diameter of the slip.

Slipforming ensures continuity of form, with no sharp edges or weld seams, and total respect for the integrity of the cable and sheath during insertion.

The raw material used

The raw material used to manufacture our tubes is grade E235 Quality 2 (S235 JRH) steel with a scraped inner weld seam.

Our tubes comply with the regulations for longitudinally pressure-welded, cold-finished tubes, and conform to standard NF EN 10219.
The material used is suitable for bending, end flaring and hot-dip galvanization (Class I – II steels).

A 3.1 certificate for the material can be supplied on request.

Standard – type C FR

Complies with NFA 35020 and Eurocode 2 fatigue requirements.

Withstands steels with an RM of 700Mpa.

Available and in stock for diameters from 12 to 43 mm.
