Swaging

—— Products

Swaging

Swaging can be used to flare the entry and/or exit points of detour devices at “concrete bulkheads”. This flare has a progressive radius of curvature, without the need for mechanical welding, unlike cones.

Our manufacturing process brings you numerous advantages, such as continuity of shape with no edges or weld seams, ensuring total respect for the integrity of the sheath and the cable route. You’ll also benefit from much lower manufacturing costs, thanks to the absence of mechanical welding.

Our mastery of cold forming ensures that the mechanical characteristics of the diverter tube are preserved. The reliability of our production prevents the risk of weld failure.

We guarantee a more reliable result in less time.

The raw material used

The raw material used to manufacture our tubes is grade E235 Quality 2 (S235 JRH) steel with a scraped inner weld seam.

Our tubes comply with the regulations for longitudinally pressure-welded, cold-finished tubes, and conform to standard NF EN 10219.
The material used is suitable for bending, end flaring and hot-dip galvanization (Class I – II steels).

A 3.1 certificate for the material can be supplied on request.

Standard – type C FR

Complies with NFA 35020 and Eurocode 2 fatigue requirements.

Withstands steels with an RM of 700Mpa.

Available and in stock for diameters from 12 to 43 mm.
